If you treasure a wilderness fishing experience and fine trout fishing without sacrificing all the comforts of home, Eliguk Lake Lodge is the place for you. With five nearby lakes, and countless rivers, you are assured of the world's greatest native trout fishing.
Most fish are caught near the surface with using a dry or wet fly. Fly fishing is encouraged because it is more fun, less damaging and, generally more productive. Eliguk Lake is now limited to barbless, single hook lures or flies. No bait. Catch and release is advocated, and usually necessitated by the number of fish you'll catch. It will help ensure that the outstanding fishing we now enjoy will continue, we hope, forever.
Eliguk Lake Lodge provides the boats and motors; your fish are cleaned and packed for transport home fresh or smoked; plus one on one fly fishing instruction, if and when you want it. The only extras are your required fishing license and whatever fly-out trips you elect to take.
Fly-out trips can be quickly arranged to whisk you off to rivers and streams throughout the Chilcotin and remote Tweedsmuir Park, where you realistically can hope to catch 6 - 10 pound native trout.
